  1. Defeating Colour Tags (the type Myer use) by Trech/Igloo Eddie

  3.  When stealing clothes from your local trendy fashion outlet
  4.  (in our case, a myer store) you have one small problem, yes
  5.  you've guessed it.. Colour Tags.  These aren't specifically
  6.  designed to stop people stealing, but as a deterent since if
  7.  you break the tag heapsa permanent ink pours out.  Well this
  8.  method doesn't hold true, and here's how to get around it :)

  10.  If you've stolen a small article of clothing, say a beanie it's
  11.  (usually) easy to get the tag off.  Find a brick wall with a
  12.  post sticking outta it, now smash the colour tag on the side of
  13.  the post (swinging towards the wall) and quickly pull away.
  14.  The colour tag, and ink etc should head towards the wall and
  15.  leave a nice stain there.  This method usually leaves a hole
  16.  a bit smaller than a square centimetre.  If you can't find a
  17.  wall like that then I reckon you can pretty much figure out
  18.  what to do :)

  20.  If you are stealing (or someone else is!) jeans or shirts then
  21.  it's best to play it safe.  You'll need two things, a lighter
  22.  (preferable a jet lighter) and a pair of plyers.  Now grab the
  23.  piece of clothing and lay it out on your lap (make sure you're
  24.  outside and wearing old clothes since nothing is 100%).  Start
  25.  to burn the colour tag slowly (at the hinge) and blow it out
  26.  as soon as it catches aflame.  As the colour tag is melted you
  27.  can rip some of the plastic off with the plyers.  Stop doing
  28.  this as soon as you can see four little holes, then you should
  29.  be able to tip the four ink rods out.  The rods are pretty
  30.  sensetive so you can use them to throw at people, whatever heh.
  31.  Then just rip all the white shit off and cut the pin.  This
  32.  is the best way to do it if you're careful, only problem is
  33.  it can get time consuming.

  35.  Of course if you're in a hurry and don't really give a shit
  36.  about the clothes you got, put the colour tag on the ground so
  37.  it's sorta like this (when you look at the ground - hey it's
  38.  better than nothing hehe)

  46.  now put a fifty cent piece on top of the pin through the
  47.  clothing.  Heave yer foot up, prepare to stomp and SMASH
  48.  stamp as hard as you can on the fifty, then try taking the
  49.  tag off without staining the clothing, this has a failure
  50.  rate of almost 90% but hey.. who's gonna notice a little
  51.  blue ink around the collar :)
